JFK REDEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP

In October 2018, the Port Authority announced the JFK Redevelopment Community Advisory Council (the Council), as a part of the Port Authority’s commitment to partnering with the local community around the Redevelopment Program. The Advisory Council includes local elected officials, community boards, clergy, civic and business leaders. To improve outreach to the local community, the JFK Redevelopment has opened the Community Information Center in Jamaica, Queens.

The $19 billion JFK Redevelopment Program includes new state-of the-art terminals that will offer a seamless curb to gate experience and feature unique, locally inspired dining and retail options. The JFK Redevelopment Community Advisory Council, co-chaired by U.S. Rep. Gregory Meeks and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, works with the Port Authority to expand community outreach efforts and develop community-focused programs to provide meaningful opportunities for local and diverse businesses, MWBEs, students, and jobseekers.
